Los Angeles| A woman accused of stalking actor Charlie Sheen was arrested last night on the actor’s property in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood. After being interrogated and searched by police, she explained that she was actually his drug dealer, demanding to be paid.
According to the LAPD, Mr. Sheen actually called the police himself around 10 pm last night, claiming that a stranger was lurking around his property. The first police officers arrived on the site in less than five minutes, and found Lorena Jane Ross in the front yard, staring through the mansion’s windows.
The 44-year old woman has a long history of drug-related charges, and was also arrested for assault in 2001.
“The officers on the site found Ms Ross in a position which suggested she was a stalker” says LAPD spokesman, Andrew Smith. “She was visibly under the influence of drugs and her explanations were very incoherent. When the officers searched her to see if she had any weapons, they found 37 grams of crack cocaine and 17 grams of crystal meth.”

LAPD spokesman, Commander Andrew Smith, confirmed that Ms Ross was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and taken into custody around 11:30 p.m. by the major-crimes division of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The Los Angeles police was able finally able to interrogate the suspect, once she was less intoxicated, and she told them that she was Mr Sheen’s drug dealer.
“She told us that she was actually on the Mister Sheen’s property to demand payment for nearly 200,000$ of drugs, which he allegedly owed her,” added Mr. Smith. “We found it pretty odd, that she would admit being a drug dealer in order to avoid trespassing charges, so we decided to investigate in order to determine what really happened.”

The 49-year old actor showed up with his lawyer at the Van Nuys community police station, this morning, to give his own version of the incidents.
On his Twitter account, Sheen tried to play the police intervention down, simply telling fans that the officers had arrived to ‘protect’ him, and that he had done nothing wrong.
This is not the first time that the actor finds himself in the news for his personal problems or for drug-related issues.
On May 20, 1998, Sheen overdosed and was hospitalized, later admitting that it was due to his habit of injecting cocaine.
In 2010, after a violent incident with his ex-wife, he was sentenced to 30 days in a drug rehab center, 30 days of probation, and 36 hours of anger management.
Later the same year, the police removed Sheen from his suite at the Plaza Hotel after he reportedly caused $7,000 in damage. According to the NYPD, he admitted to drinking and using cocaine the night of the incident.
